About NCC
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at our institution has a total strength of 150 cadets, comprising 100 cadets in the Army Wing and 50 cadets in the Air Wing. The Army Wing was established in 2008, and the Air Wing commenced in 2020, strengthening the institution’s commitment to discipline, leadership, and national service.
All second-year cadets participate annually in a 10-day Annual Training Camp, which provides practical exposure to army life and fosters discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills. Selected cadets represent the institution at prestigious national-level camps, including the Republic Day Camp (RDC), Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB), and the All India Trekking Camp.
The unit has achieved notable distinctions at various levels.
Through the Cadet Welfare Society, meritorious cadets receive scholarships, and NCC cadets are regularly recognized with state and national-level awards for their outstanding performance. The NCC unit continues to contribute significantly to the holistic development of disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented citizens.
